Builders' Biccy Break

We're eating builders' biscuits
We're drinking builders' tea
Everything's expensive
When they add on VAT
These biscuits didn't break our bank
Because we got them free
Katherine kindly gifted this treat
We're eating them with glee

Paul once built some houses
For the gentry in Romsey
Karl created Lego dwellings
Building made him happy
If builders hadn't fixed Mandy's roof
It would still be seriously leaky
Keep the biscuits coming
And they'll work much harder you'll see.

Feed your builders well
Whilst they're working on the job
A custard cream, a jaffa cake or a chocolate hob nob!

Biscuits: Family Circle
Tasting Notes: Short and bready. Thanks Katherine x
Score:  8.5 out of 10

Costa Cookie Monster

[Listen to us on the radio at 57 minutes
http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p015bmnj/Julian_Clegg_14_03_2013/]

We're sitting here in Costa
in a post Radio Solent haze,
our 5 minutes of fame has left us
all a-daze!

First the Echo,
now Julian Clegg,
must make sure it doesn't go
to our heads.

We've reverted to biscuits
to try and relax.
and two massive snacks have stopped us
in our tracks.

Sat on Southampton Road
or is it Sesame Street?
The Cookie Monster would feel at home
with these 'supersize me' treats.

Biscuit: Costa's Monster size Bourbon and Custard Cream
Taste test: 9.9 out of 10
Cost: £1.75 each from Costa Coffee in Southampton

Custard Cream Limerick

There was a young girl from Peru,
Who was asked to a fancy dress do,
She fulfilled her dream,
To be a custard cream,
But her date found her too sickly to woo.

Biscuit: Crawford's Custard Cream
Taste test: 7out of 10
Cost: 75p from Asda in Eastleigh
