Dodging the Issue

Tacky with a texture like glue
The memories come flooding through,
You remind me of my youth
When I acted so uncouth
Running around
the playground
With just one tooth,
That's all you left me
Biscuit oh so jammy.

Biscuit: Jammie Dodger
Taste test: 4 out of 10
Cost: £1.15 from Asda in Totton

  1. I always used to twist mine apart and eat the jam first. Now I tell my children off for doing the same.

  2. Youth encapsulated in a few lines. Like jam between biscuit. Love it.

  3. love it! - has made me feel hungry and also reminded me of the feeling of having teeth missing - something to look forward to again in old age!

  4. How fantastic that the jammy dodger got to be written about first. The poem is brilliant, especially the bit about having one tooth left - genius.

  5. You are so interesting! I don't suppose I've truly read through a single thing like this
before. So great to find another person with genuine thoughts
on this issue. Really.. thanks for starting this up. This web site is one
thing that is required on the web, someone with some originality!

Also visit my page; I agree with that
